Salary Guidelines

The Montana Synod Salary Guidelines and Recommendations for 2008 are downloadable and available for your use as you do your budget planning for the coming year.  Please remember these are suggested minimum guidelines.  The 2008 IRS mileage rate is currently 48.5 cents per mile.  The Synod Council in February of 2006 voted to increase payment to supply pastors.  This change is noted on the last paragraph of page 4.  The recommended rate of one worship service is $100 and $50 for each additional service on the same day and at the same location.
